OUR STORY
This project is derived from a pitch competition in 2019, the Inspire! Marketing Coloured Gemstones organized by the Mineral and Energy for Development (MEfDA a partnership between the University of Queensland and the University of Western Australia). The Pitch Night was sponsored by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Australia Awards Africa, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and Gemfields. This milestone encouraged us to believe in our dreams and ambitious vision, despite challenges that the African continent and the whole world have experienced since then.

As a Canadian brand committed to promote social justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) best practices in the world, we also aim to become an advocacy platform for artisanal and small-scale miners (ASM) mainly females, and jewelry enthusiasts, jewellers, mining professionals, and rockhound communities from all walks of life .
